Two American Pit Bull Terriers living successfully together in Italy

International APBT case: Italy (Florence)

This international case describes two American Pit Bull Terriers from
Dognik Bulls who now live together in Florence, Italy.

First dog: Dognik Bulls Don Carleone

The first dog, a black male named Dognik Bulls Don Carleone,
stayed with us until 15 weeks of age. During this period, he received
early socialization, daily handling and basic training foundations.

Relocation to Italy was done by air, accompanied personally,
following all standard veterinary and legal requirements for
international animal travel.

The flight lasted approximately three hours and was handled calmly.
The puppy showed no signs of stress and was met directly at the airport
by the owners. Adaptation to the new home environment was smooth from the first day.

Second dog: Dognik Bulls Carmella Carleone

About two years later, the same owners welcomed a second dog from Dognik Bulls —
a black female named Dognik Bulls Carmella Carleone.

She relocated to Italy at around 15 weeks of age by car,
with full veterinary preparation and required documentation in place.

The journey was well tolerated, and upon arrival,
she immediately joined daily walks and activities with the older dog.

Living together and temperament

Integration between the two dogs was exceptionally smooth.
The older male accepted the younger female positively from the first day.

They began walking and playing together immediately.
After a short adjustment period, they fully settled into living together,
showing relaxed and natural social behavior.

Both dogs demonstrate:

  • stable and well-socialized temperament
  • confidence around people
  • excellent adaptability to urban life
  • strong compatibility living together
