A questionnaire  for potential owners of american pitbull terrier from the «Dognik Bulls» kennel

Please note that the collection and processing of personal data is carried out with your voluntary consent. If you do not agree to answer these questions, please look for a pit bull puppy elsewhere. Breeders don’t care where they sell their puppies.
The purpose of this survey and data collection is to determine whether you are a good fit for us as a future pit bull terrier puppy owner. Do you understand the responsibilities of owning an active dog breed?
1. Your name and surname.
2. What country and city do you live in?
3. Are there any general or local restrictions or laws in your country regarding ownership of the American Pitbull Terrier breed?
4. Do you have a criminal record? Are you potentially at risk of getting into trouble with the police?
5. How old are you?
6. Do all members of your household (those living with you) consent to owning a dog?
7. Do any members of your household (those living with you) have allergies to dogs?
8. Do you live in an apartment or a private home?
9. Is this your private residence, or do you need permission from the landlord?
10. If you live in a private home, is your property completely fenced? Are there any holes in the fence?
11. Do you understand that the American Pitbull Terrier is an active dog breed? You’ll need to take walks, play actively, and devote time to both the puppy and the adult dog.
12. You understand that a puppy of any breed bites when playing and can tear up your shoes or bed. Do you understand this? Are you prepared to live through this with the puppy?
13. Do you have children in the family? How many are there, and how old are they?
14. Do you have other dogs in the family? What breeds are they, and how old are they? If you have cats, parrots, snakes, crocodiles, or other pets, please also answer this question.
15. Have you had dogs before? When did they die, and how long did they live?
16. Do you plan to take time off work while the puppy is arriving? Or do you have someone living with you who can give the puppy constant attention for a few weeks after the puppy arrives?
17. How many hours will the puppy/adult dog be left alone at home?
18. Do you understand that the puppy will grow up and live with you for 10-15 years? Are you prepared to love and care for a dog for that long?
19. If for any reason you decide to get rid of your pit bull puppy, are you prepared to return it to us, paying all shipping costs? We do not encourage rehoming of our dogs without our knowledge.
20. Have you ever purchased a puppy and then returned it to the kennel? If so, please explain the reason.
21. Do you have sufficient funds to care for a dog? Beds, crates, bowls, training, care, food, and veterinary care all cost a lot of money.

Thank you for your time. This will help us understand if our American Pitbull Terrier puppies are right for you. Answering these questions will help you make a more informed decision about purchasing a puppy and choosing a breeder. Please send all responses to dognikb@gmail.com only.
