Victory at the pitbull specialty show in Moscow «Golden Cup- 2026»

American pitbull terrier Dognik Bulls Abronia won the Golden Cup-2026, the premier show for american pitbull terriers in Russia! She won the titles of «Best of Breed» and «Best Pitbull in Show.» Every american pitbull terrier owner in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan knows this show.

How did it all begin?
APBT Dognik Bulls Abronia was born at the Dognik Bulls kennel in 2021 and moved to Russia in February 2022. Her owner, Sophie, planned to actively engage her in shows and sports when she first booked the puppy. Dognik Bulls Abronia is a purebred American dog, born to two dogs brought from the American continent to the Dognik Bulls kennel. Her father is champion Miller’s Wild Storm, aka Castle, brought in 2016 from the Florida-based sports kennel Real Deal Chocolates. Her mother is Hoff’s Banshee, brought in 2017 from the Brazilian kennel Dusheik.
Since puppyhood, Dognik Bulls Abronia has been involved in training, obedience, dog fitness, training in a dog gym, and handling.
Since 2022, Dognik Bulls Abronia has been participating in the annual Golden Cup, a special event for purebred American Pit Bull Terriers held in Moscow. This show has been organized by Marina Timofeeva, director of the Brave Fighter kennel, since 2013. What makes this show so special is that the organizers annually invite only purebred judges to judge. This means that the judge in the ring is always someone who owns a renowned American Pit Bull Terrier kennel somewhere in the world. This show has become a landmark not only for American Pit Bull Terrier enthusiasts from Russia, but also from Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. Each year, 100-150 purebred pit bulls gather at the show to showcase their beauty, drive, and charisma. People come to the «Golden Cup» show to showcase all the imported dogs, show off their puppies, and meet the purebred breeders. This is more than just a show; it’s a truly grand event for Eastern Europe and the American Pit Bull Terriers living there. So, Dognik Bulls Abronia, a pit bull, competed for the first time at the 2022 Golden Cup show at the age of seven months. The judge at the show was Elena Semenova, owner of the American Pit Bull Terrier kennel «Dragons,» located in St. Petersburg, Russia. Under Elena Semenova’s judging, Dognik Bulls Abronia won Best Female Puppy and Best Puppy in Show against a male. Her first appearance at a specialty show and an immediate victory. In 2023, Dognik Bulls Abronia was already a young dog and competed in the young dog class. The judge at the 2023 Golden Cup show was Mladen Krkelic, a well-known American Pit Bull Terrier breeder from Yugoslavia. His pit bull kennel, «Komany Kennels,» is world-famous. Under his judging, the pit bull Abronia won first place in the young female class. And compared to pit bull females in the other classes, she took second place. So, her second appearance at a specialty show—and once again, the APBT Dognik Bulls Abronia won her class! As the director of the Dognik Bulls kennel, I was very interested to hear Mladen Krkelic’s opinion of Dognik Bulls Abronia. After all, he had come to judge this same specialty show, but several years earlier. He was an expert at the «Golden Cup-2017» show when I visited Moscow with Abronia’s father, Miller’s Wild Storm, aka Castle. Mladen really liked Castle back then. He said of him, «I haven’t seen a better dog today. This is exactly what an American Pit Bull Terrier should be.» At that time, Miller’s Wild Storm, aka Castle, was shown in the junior class. He won among all junior males, and there were many of them. And compared to his female, he won Best Junior at the 2017 Golden Cup! The best representative of the breed, winning the adult class, was Dognik Bulls (Brave Fighter’s) African Passion. She subsequently became a resident of our Dognik Bulls kennel. She and Miller’s Wild Storm produced two extraordinary litters of pit bull puppies in 2018 and 2019. Miller’s Wild Storm, aka Castle’s son, Dognik Bulls Zmej Gorinich, also produced another litter in 2021.

Dognik Bulls Abronia did not attend the 2024 Golden Cup show due to family reasons. However, she did participate again in the 2025 American Pit Bull Specialty Show, Golden Cup. The judge was Vincenzo Maglione (Italy/Spain). Dognik Bulls Abronia was shown in the working class and won! First place, judged by Vincenzo Maglione. I’m attaching photos from the Golden Cup-2025:

In 2026, Radek Krystof (Czech Republic/Spain), a well-known ADBA judge (he regularly judges pit bull shows for the American Dog Breeders Association), was invited to judge the 2026 Golden Cup show. He also regularly travels to different countries and continents to judge. The show took place on June 14, 2026. Dognik Bulls Abronia was shown in the working class. The competition at this show was fierce—157 dogs! Abronia won her class. Then there was a comparison of all adult females from all adult classes. Abronia won the title of «Best Female.» She then went on to compete against Best Male and won that as well! It was truly a show. Judge Radek Krystof looked not only at the dogs’ anatomy. He carefully touched them, checked their level of passion, and tested their endurance (the dogs jumped in the ring and demonstrated their endurance and passion). Thanks to excellent genetics, breeding, training, and handling, Dognik Bulls Abronia became Best of Breed and won the title of «Best of Breed»! This is the highest possible title for dogs in the adult classes and the most valuable at the show.
But there is also a comparison for the best dog in the show. This is when all the pit bulls that won their classes are compared with each other. And here they compare not only the winners of adult classes, but also the winners in the baby, puppy, and junior categories. Dognik Bulls Abronia won this competition as well, becoming Best Dog of the entire «Golden Cup-2026» show! Abronia’s handler at this show is Maria Madzik.

This victory demonstrates the important role a dog’s genetics play. A good dog, from good, stable ancestors, with proper breeding, care, and training, will show high results. These are the very american pitbull terriers that are born at the Dognik Bulls kennel.
