Zoopsychologist UK Ireland Scotland
My name is Veronika Voitovska. I am a certified zoopsychologist (Ukraine and UK). I am also a doctor. Certified cynologist-expert. Judge of dog shows in the European Union. Judge of sports competitions for dogs. Certified in animal welfare (European Union).
In addition to these regalia, which took decades of training to obtain, I have a huge advantage over other zoopsychologists. This is a high medical education. Sometimes I help to find the source of the disease in dogs that causes behavioral disorders. And the root cause is no longer zoopsychology, but a common disease that the dog owners didn’t even know about.
The second huge advantage is my personal dog kennel «Dognik Bulls». My kennel is one of the largest in Europe. I work with large and serious dog breeds — with american pitbull terriers and american bullies. At the moment, there are 10 adult pitbull terriers and 5 adult american bullies in my kennel. I really know a lot about zoopsychology and dog behavior. I doubt I know everything, since the world is developing dynamically and new knowledge is always emerging. But I constantly attend seminars and training sessions on my work. But working with my personal dogs, working with graduates of my dog kennel, studying zoopsychology for many years. All this has formed a huge experience in me, which I share.
I don’t belong to the category of zoopsychologists of Great Britain, Ireland, Scotland, who have one or two personal dogs and one certificate «zoopsychologist». I really work with dogs, with problem dogs, with hyperreactive dogs, with aggressive dogs.
I work as a zoopsychologist in the main areas: separation anxiety (separation anxiety in dogs) — its manifestations, reducing anxiety in puppies and adult dogs, work to prevent separation anxiety in puppies. Aggression in dogs — protection of food, attacks on other dogs, people, children. The third huge part of my work as a zoopsychologist is the work on introducing dogs and newborns. A very popular and important request. Dogs experience stress when newborns are born. Some dogs show aggression towards newborns. I work with all this successfully.
Of course, I solve other problems. I help the owner understand the dog’s actions and the psychology (zoopsychology) of these actions. I help to reduce the stress level in dogs from the shelter, in dogs that are afraid to ride in a car, and so on.
Zoopsychologist UK Ireland Scotland — this is not the same as a dog handler. I do not teach commands (although I have a certificate for this and can do this too). I teach you to understand the dog’s reactions and explain to you the root causes of your dog’s behavior. And also change the relationship for the better.
I consult online via video link. Cost of consultation: 50 euros for 30 minutes. To make an appointment with a zoopsychologist UK Ireland Scotland, write to me:
